Flowers&fruits: | The flowering period is in April. The flower buds are deep red and shriveled. After swelling, it gradually turns deep magenta red. The open flowers are light magenta red, and the color of the center of the flower gradually fades. The fruit lasts from June to October. It is olive-shaped, with a diameter of 1.3 to 2cm and a large quantity. In June, it is light wine red, and when ripe, it turns deep red. In winter, it gradually changes to dark red and does not fall off throughout the winter. |
Leaf: | The leaves are ovate to elliptical, with a blunt tip, a cuneate base, and blunt serrations along the margin. The new leaves are brownish-yellow with downy hairs. The summer leaves are green with a hint of purplish red, while the autumn leaves are orange-red. |
