Wang Qiang, the chief engineer of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Shandong Province and director of the Urban Management Bureau, introduced that in the process of implementing the quality improvement of urban garden greening, Shandong adheres to the concept of "a people's city", focuses on the people's demands for a better life, and provides more high-quality garden ecological products and services for the masses. Adhere to the "Two Mountains" concept, strengthen protection and restoration, scientifically increase and expand greenery, and build a complete, continuous and stable urban greening system. Adhering to the concept of "service first", we aim to create all-age friendly and multi-functional garden Spaces for different groups and based on different locations. Under the premise of accurately grasping the "five types of attributes", in response to the concentrated concerns and demands of the masses, efforts should be focused on building five types of theme-based landscaping around the people, namely "green", "leisure", "sports", "culture" and "technology", and creating rich and diverse functional scenarios. Wang Qiang introduced that Shandong is building "green gardens" to better improve the urban living environment. By means of leaving blank Spaces to increase greenery, removing illegal structures to build green Spaces, and filling in green Spaces whenever possible, efforts should be made to increase the green volume of the city, eliminate blind spots in park coverage, and create a "10-minute park green space living circle".

Build "leisure gardens" to better meet the people's needs for sightseeing. In response to the current prominent demands for elderly health care and child rearing, efforts should be made to enhance the construction and improvement of facilities that are elderly-friendly, child-friendly and barrier-free, and create green leisure Spaces that are friendly to all ages.
