Explore Changxing Nursery: Unique tree species and garden Scenery

A large number of people participated in the inspection, coming from various sectors such as nursery enterprises, purchasers and designers, jointly exploring the characteristic tree species of Changxing Nursery. The scale of the inspection team's visit exceeded expectations, and both buses were fully occupied. Visitors from associations across the country came in an endless stream. One afternoon at the Changxing Flower and Tree Conference, we were fortunate enough to visit five nurseries with Changxing characteristics, experiencing the nature and vitality there.

❒ Changxing Si 'an Pengcheng Municipal Garden 

Our first stop was the nursery of Pengcheng Municipal Park in Si 'an, Changxing. The first thing that catches the eye are ten thousand uniformly arranged container saplings of Quercus nata, with uniform specifications and beautiful tree shapes, which are truly breathtaking. It is reported that in recent years, large-sized Quercus nata has been widely used in the Wuhan area. However, the survival rate during summer transplanting has become a major problem. Pengcheng Garden is renowned for its uniform container Quercus nata seedlings, and its scale and quality are leading among similar nurseries. Pengcheng Garden seized the market opportunity first and was the first to cultivate container seedlings of such a scale. Its high quality and high standards can be regarded as a model for the cultivation of Nata Quercus in Changxing.

❒ Changxing Linmei Nursery Professional Cooperative 

Our second stop was the Changxing Linmei Nursery Professional Cooperative. This old nursery with a profound heritage of forty years is renowned for its distinctive Changxing red plums. Here, five varieties of red plum blossoms are gathered, mainly consisting of engineering seedlings with a diameter of 10 to 12 centimeters. Their low branching and large crown width design are highly favored by the market. It is renowned for its Changxing red plum, featuring five varieties of red plum. The main variety is engineered seedlings, which are highly favored for their low branching and large crown spread.

❒ Changxing Kunzhan Landscape Gardening Engineering Co., LTD 

Our third stop was Changxing Kunzhan Landscape Gardening Engineering Co., LTD. Two years ago, this place was still a newly developed land, with clusters of camphor trees that had just been planted like a "black forest". Nowadays, it is already lush and full of vitality. During this visit, we happened to come across workers digging a large camphor tree with five branches planted together. The huge soil ball, the busy scene of digging, packing and loading the tree onto the vehicle all made us stop and watch. It is renowned for its clustered camphor trees and has developed into a vibrant green area in a short period of time. Currently, it is the largest 1,500-mu clustered camphor tree base in the country.

❒ Changxing Haiyi Flower and Horticulture Farm 

The fourth stop was Changxing Haiyi Flower and Horticulture Farm. Although this place is located in Changxing, it also gathers the essence of plant weaving art. Haiyi Flowers is known for its crape myrtle vases, which are small and exquisite in shape and affordable in price, making them very suitable for rural greening. Featuring crape myrtle vases, they are exquisitely designed and reasonably priced. They are produced based on orders, and the products are often in short supply. According to the person in charge, this nursery implements order-based production and its products are always in short supply every year. At present, the number of vases in the nursery has exceeded 4,000. If the opportunity is missed, it might be hard to find them. 

❒ Changxing Rongyi Garden Co., LTD 

Our fifth stop was Changxing Rongyi Garden Co., LTD. Here, the densely planted Chinese fir trees have become a new sight. In the past two years, the practice of planting Cypress trees together has become extremely popular in Changxing area. The Cypress tree base of Rongyi Garden not only offers opportunities for appreciation but also conducts on-site planting teaching. With the feature of planting Chinese cypress trees together and on-site planting teaching carried out at the same time, it has become a new scenic line in Changxing area. 

On this land of Changxing, every day is filled with surprises and discoveries. After leaving the Pusu base of Rongyi Garden, I was still exploring more of the integration of nature and humanity with a lingering sense of satisfaction. In Changxing, the garden flowers and trees blend seamlessly with nature, showcasing a unique humanistic charm and focusing on the diverse development of trees.
